Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan (GNIT) has been working in Tajikistan since 1998. The objective of GNIT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNIT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.

Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan now searches for an experienced Database specialist, based in Dushanbe, Head Office. S/he will ensure that work with forms, spreadsheets, text documents, work with information databases. Able to work with specialized software, scanner, computer equipment, and input tools, technologies for placing and transmitting information in the Activity Info program. Fill out web forms, and freely use one or more browsers. Accurately archive all project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Checking and distributing of the paper version of the list of participants in the order of target schools.
  • Working with documents of different formats, entering and checking existing information, typing, compiling tables, etc.
  • Output of the main results of the pre-test and post-test to the program.
  • Entering the required data into the Activity Info program.
  • Proper archiving of project documents.
  • Registration of data in the internal system in accordance with strict deadlines
  • All completed work follows internal ethical obligations.

Requirements

  • University Degree on Education, Social Science, Economic.
  • Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software;
  • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software will be considered an advantage;
  • Good report writing skills; Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Fluency in Tajik, Russian and English languages.
